How to use
- Choose an image file.
- Enter a width and height or change the scale percentage.
- Choose an output format and resize.
- Download the new image.
Large images may use significant memory. Keep important originals backed up.
Resize an image without guesswork
Use the image resizer when you need a smaller image for a page, a document, or a message. Choose a file, then enter the target width and height or adjust the scale percentage. With Keep aspect ratio enabled, changing one dimension keeps the image proportions; turn it off only when you intentionally want to stretch the image.
Pick dimensions and an output format
Pixel dimensions describe the image's actual width and height. A scale of 50% makes each dimension half as large as the original. PNG, JPEG, and WebP have different support and compression characteristics; choose a format accepted by the place where you plan to use the image. The available input formats depend on the browser.
Review the preview and save a copy
Compare the original and resized previews before downloading. Resizing can reduce pixel dimensions, but it does not guarantee a particular file size because the result also depends on image content and format. Animated images are exported as a still image. Keep the original if you may need to make another edit; very large images can use substantial device memory.
